About the Airport
The Milan Malpensa Airport consists of two separate terminals, connected with a shuttle bus. The cargo flights have a special terminal called CargoCity. Malpensa Airport: a few minutes from the Aer Hotel Malpensa Terminal 1 is dedicated to all intercontinental flights, international, national and charter flights. Officially opened on October 25 1998, it is made up of 2 satellites: A – flights to destinations area “Schengen”; B – flights to the destination area “Extra-Schengen.” The 3rd satellite (C) is currently under construction. In 2008, was the opening of check-in area, while the new satellite will be completed in 2010. Terminal 2 is dedicated exclusively to low-cost traffic.
